This is the continuation to the story of Business Thieves. Pugazhendhi thought that he was fully out of the case. But he finds that he is not too far from the business thieves.They are after him.

 

Chapter I: A Revenge attempt

Date: 18th July 2012, Wednesday

Place: Police Station, Pazhamathur Village

 

Pugazhendhi was thinking over the case of spoiled sugarcanes.

The time was around 2.30 p.m.

 

After a long thought process, he thought of sharing it with Prabhu.

He took his mobile phone and dialled to Prabhu’s mobile number.

 

Prabhu answered the call.

Prabhu said,” good afternoon”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “good afternoon”

Prabhu said,” You have left me here alone in Chennai”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “What to do man? They have given me a transfer”

Prabhu said,”mmm…ok”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I thought of talking to you in private, are you free now?”

Prabhu said, “Yes, I am in my home and alone I am”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Here I have got a case like that of the business thieves case”

Prabhu asked, “What? How? Please explain me”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Last night, here in a nearby village, a sugarcane land got spoiled”

Prabhu asked, “How?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Somebody has cut the canes in the midsection”

Pugazhendhi added, “And it was the middle of its growth period”

 

Pugazhendhi continued, “So, all the canes are now useless”

Prabhu asked, “What extent of land it was?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”10 acres of land”

Prabhu said, “I can’t believe this, do you mean to say all the people were in sleep?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “They say so”

Prabhu asked, “Not even a sound of cutting machine heard?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, they say so”

Prabhu said, “How is it, possible man?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Remember the monkey robot”

Prabhu said, “Yes, it can handle two knives at the same time”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Mmmm….assume that it is traversing from one end to another”

Prabhu said, “Yes it can cut the canes at the midsection”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “But to cut the wholesome of 10 acres, it may need more than 10 hours”

Prabhu said,”mmm….yes then would have noticed it”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “But they were not even able to see a trace of the visitors”

Prabhu said, “Imagine if there are ten monkey robots, then my job gets done in 1 hour”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Brilliant you are”

Prabhu said,”Hmmm…the Guy X comes here, operates 10 monkey robots in a silent manner”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “If it got done in the midnight, everybody would be sleeping”

Prabhu said,”hmmm… that is the modus operandi”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “That is why I called you”

Prabhu said, “So, the team of Business thieves is not destroyed to the full extent”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…before that only they have transferred me”

Prabhu said,”mmm…you are a hard worker, I know”

 

Pugazhendhi said,” there is something fishy about my transfer also”

Prabhu asked, “Do you doubt anybody in your department?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Whom to doubt now? I am in a rural area “

Prabhu said, “why did you accept the transfer?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “I had no other choice”

Prabhu said, “but you see, the attack is again in your zone”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, that is what I doubt”

Prabhu said, “It means that they are after you”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “yes, it is true”

Prabhu said, “They want to take revenge on you”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm… I understand”

Prabhu said, “Why don’t you quit your job?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”hmmm… if I back off, will they leave me?”

Prabhu said, “that is also correct, somehow they will come to you again”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Tomorrow, why don’t you come here?”

Prabhu said,”mmmm…good idea, I also need a good case”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “come, we will do site investigation again”

Prabhu said,”mmm…ok I will be there tomorrow morning”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Call me before you start from Chennai”

Prabhu said,”Ok, done”
