Chapter XXVII: A Tight fight
Date: 13th June 2012
Place: Ramapuram

Some of the armed officers ran upstairs.
They shot at the room from which the grenade came.

There was no attack in return this time.

They decided to enter the room.
They went inside the room.

Pugazhendhi picked up courage and pulled out his gun.

He started to climb the stairs in a slow manner.

They were checking all the rooms one by one.
He heard gunshots inside the room.

On hearing that he stopped at the place where he was standing.

One of the officers inside the room shouted,”Hey it is the robot”

Pugazhendhi took his walkie-talkie.

He informed others; “Sir, we are at the right spot”
Raja and Muthu got alerted.

Pugazhendhi said, “Our people are shooting at the robot”
Raja said, “yes we are on the watch”

Pugazhendhi shouted, “Officers inside, use the grenade on the Robot”

On hearing that some of the officers ran out of the room.

One officer threw a hand grenade on the robot and he too swept out.

The grenade exploded near the monkey robot.

A heavy sound of the explosion happened.

The Robot got torn into bits and pieces of metal spares.

Pugazhendhi shouted, “Sir, at last, we got it down”

“The robot is down,” said Pugazhendhi once again.
All the officers shouted, “Hurray”

But Solomon was not there to enjoy the victory.

Chapter XXVIII: The End of a Bad day
Date: 13th June 2012
Place: Ramapuram

After the Robot got blasted, all the officers searched the bungalow in and out.

The suspect Sirish Kumar was not there in that house.

Pugazhendhi ordered the cops, “Gather all the materialistic information”

Kannan made a phone call to Pugazhendhi.
Pugazhendhi answered, “Hello Sir”

Kannan said,”Pugazh, what is the status there?”
Pugazhendhi said,”Sir, we got the robot down”
Kannan said,”Oh! Great”
Pugazhendhi said, “But I have a bad news for you sir”

Kannan asked, “What is it?”
Pugazhendhi said, “The Robot attacked our Solomon to death”
Kannan astonished,”Oh! My god”
Kannan was not able to digest the news.
Kannan asked, “What man? What are you saying?”
Pugazhendhi said, “It is the fact sir”

Kannan said, “I will come over there”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Kannan disconnected the phone call.
Kannan immediately took his vehicle and flew to Ramapuram.

When Kannan reached there, it was around 9.30 p.m.

Pugazhendhi, Muthu, and Raja were standing outside the building.

When Kannan got down from his vehicle they saluted him.

Kannan asked, “What is this Pugazh, how did it happen?”

Pugazhendhi said,”Sir, I said him not to go alone”
Kannan said,”Oh, He tried it alone?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, he ordered me to stay back”

Kannan said,”Oh, my God, he is an arrogant fellow”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, the robot attacked him without a warning”
Kannan said,”Oh”

Pugazhendhi said, “It happened just before my eyes “

Kannan said,” He never listens to others advice”

Pugazhendhi said,” yes sir, in the second round our officers bombed it”

Kannan said, “My God, he should have been patient”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

Kannan said, “Now I am answerable to everyone about his life”

Pugazhendhi said, “We are all responsible sir”

Everybody kept silence for few minutes.
Tears were flowing from each of their eyes.

They never expected that the monkey robot would create such a huge massacre.

Risk was always a part of their job. But this loss was a huge one to them.
