Chapter V: Prabhu’s help
Date: 28th May 2012

Place: Adyar Police Station

 

There were no further clues obtained in the case of Rangaswamy. Weekly once or Twice, Mr.Rangaswamy used to call Pugazhendhi to know the status of the case.

But, Pugazhendhi had to say “Sorry” all the time.

On 28th May, Pugazhendhi received a Phone call at 11 O clock in the morning.

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello”
The other end said, “Hello Pugazh! How are you”

Pugazhendhi said, “Is this Prabhu?”

The other end said, “Yes, it is me, I have changed my mobile number”

Pugazhendhi said, “How are you, man?”
Prabhu said, “I am fine, How are you?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Where were you these days, No message from you?”

Prabhu said, “In Chennai only, I was busy in other cases”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh is it so?”
Prabhu said, “Man, I have an important message for you”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, tell me”
Prabhu said, “Do you remember that Hotel Sindhu Bhavan case?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, have you got any clue?”

Prabhu said, “No clues, but a similar event has happened in Vadapalani”

Pugazhendhi asked,”Vadapalani?”
Prabhu said, “Yes in Hotel Chandiravanan”

Pugazhendhi said, “Hotel Chandiravanan?”
Prabhu said, “Yes man, the incident has happened in the same style”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh, how much are the incurred losses?”
Prabhu said, “About 6 to 7 lakhs”

Pugazhendhi asked, “When did it happen?”
Prabhu said, “It has happened on the night of 24th May”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Who is the owner of the Hotel?”
Prabhu answered, “It is Mr.Naresh Dutta”

Pugazhendhi said, “How do you know?”
Prabhu said, “I was following up a robbery case with

Mr.Dhanasekaran, who is the Inspector of Vadapalani Police Station”
Pugazhendhi said, “Is it so”

Prabhu said,”I met him today”
Prabhu added,” He was discussing with Mr.Naresh Dutta”

Pugazhendhi said, “Just like me and Rangaswamy”
Prabhu laughed,”Ha Ha Ha, yes of course”

Pugazhendhi said, “Can you make an arrangement for a meeting with Inspector Dhanasekaran?”

Prabhu said, “Yes sure man when you are free?”
Pugazhendhi said, “Tomorrow”

Prabhu said, “Sure, I will fix the appointment and let you know”

Pugazhendhi said, “You have done a great help to me man, Thank you”

Prabhu said, “It is my duty man”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, call me after fixing the appointment”

Prabhu said, “Yes Bye”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, Bye”

 

Chapter VI: A Brainstorming Session

Date: 29th May 2012
Place: Vadapalani Police Station

It was 11 O Clock in the morning when Pugazhendhi and Prabhu met each other at the Vadapalani Police Station.

Pugazhendhi greeted, “Good Morning Prabhu”
Prabhu said, “Good Morning Pugazh”

Pugazhendhi said, “Will we meet him?”
Prabhu said, “Yes we will “

Both of them entered the Cabin of Mr.Dhanasekaran.
Dhanasekaran greeted them, “Good Morning Gentlemen”

Both of them replied, “Good Morning Sir”
Dhanasekaran said, “Please take your seat”

Both of them sat in the chairs offered.

Dhanasekaran said,” Mr.Pugazh, I got to know the purpose of your visit from Mr.Prabhu”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, it is a discussion about the Hotel Chandiravanan case”

Dhanasekaran said, “Yes, it has got exploited by an unknown person”

Pugazhendhi said, “We have a similar case registered in our Station last month”

Dhanasekaran said, “Yes, Prabhu informed me about that, could you give me details?”

Pugazhendhi had the case details and photographs from Hotel Sindhu Bhavan.

He gave it to Inspector Dhanasekaran.
Dhanasekaran saw those documents.
He exclaimed,”Oh! My god, the same style of exploitation has happened here in Hotel Chandiravanan”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes Sir, That is why we are here for a discussion”

Dhanasekaran said, “Then he seems to be attacking Hotels only”
Prabhu said, “Yes sir”

Pugazhendhi said, “The aim is to damage the food supply”

Dhanasekaran said, “Yes, I understand”

Prabhu said, “We were trying hard for the past one month to get clues”

Dhanasekaran said,”Oh, I See”
Pugazhendhi said, “At last, we found an another incident “

Dhanasekaran said, “I also don’t have any extra clues apart from you have”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, But the guy hit Adyar first and now he has attacked Vadapalani”

Dhanasekaran said, “In one-month interval”

Prabhu said, “What if we are unaware of incidents if they have occurred and beyond our vision?”

Dhanasekaran said, “Yes man, you are right”

Pugazhendhi said, “The Guy is shifting his area of Operations”
Prabhu said, “yes Of course”

Pugazhendhi said, “But, still what is the benefit of the culprit?”

Dhanasekaran said, “Yes, what does he want?”
Prabhu said, “Maybe a Psyche”

Pugazhendhi said, “Psycho yes could be”
Dhanasekaran said, “Any Ex- Hotel Owner, who has lost his business?”

Prabhu said, “Yes, could be a chance for that”

Pugazhendhi said, “But why did he shift the place of attack?”

Dhanasekaran said, “If he operates in the same place, Police can track him”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

Dhanasekaran said, “I have a meeting within another half an hour”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir, we will be in touch through phone”

Prabhu said, “Yes sir, we will make our move”

Dhanasekaran said,”Ok Bye”

Both of them said, “Bye sir”
They came out of the Police Station.

Pugazhendhi said, “I too have an appointment today afternoon”

Prabhu said,”Ok we will speak through phone today evening”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok Bye”

Prabhu said,”Ok Bye”
Both of them departed and went in different directions.
