This is the continuation to the story of Business Thieves. Pugazhendhi thought that he was fully out of the case. But he finds that he is not too far from the business thieves.They are after him.

 

Chapter 24: Axe Force

Date: 21st July 2012, Saturday

Place: Udayambakkam and Pazhamathur

 

Ramamoorthy asked, “Then what could it be?”

Pugazhendhi said, “It could be a robot”

 

Ramamoorthy said, “A Robot? In this remote village?”

Ramamoorthy added, “I can’t believe it”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Even I can’t believe it”

Ramamoorthy asked, “Then how do you say?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “It is a guess because I have handled a similar case before”

Ramamoorthy said,”hmmm…Now, what should I give in my complaint?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “You say that your shed has been burnt down by some unknown persons”

Ramamoorthy said, “So, you will investigate and tell whether it is a robot or not”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…I am already investigating on it, but the case is not at all moving”

Ramamoorthy asked, “Why sir?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “A team has to join me and then only the case will get ignited”

Pugazhendhi asked, “Will I take some photographs of your site?”

 

Ramamoorthy said, “Yes, please go ahead”

Pugazhendhi took many pictures of the burnt site.

 

He took the picture of the abutting road, in which Muthu got dragged.

Pugazhendhi thought of taking a walk around the suburbs of the shed.

 

The Gate of the Shed was facing the North.

The bed of Palar River was on the west side of the shed.

 

A road was existing on the east side of the shed, which leads to the adjacent villages.

Pugazhendhi walked on the east side of the shed.

 

He searched for any tyre marks along the river bed.

He was not able to find any tyre marks on the east side.

 

Pugazhendhi came back to the shed.

Ramamoorthy asked, “What sir, any clues you got?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…no”

Ramamoorthy said, “Sir, I have suffered many losses in my life”

 

Ramamoorthy added, “But those losses were due to some of my carelessness in my business”

Pugazhendhi listened to him,”mhmm”

 

Ramamoorthy said, “But in this case, I am not able to digest”

Ramamoorthy asked, “What wrong did I do? And why was I punished?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “This is not a punishment sir”

Ramamoorthy said, “Those people are merciless fellows”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Mercy is beyond their boundaries”

Ramamoorthy said, “If you are in my position, you will know the amount of this pain”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Sir, please be calm, I am working on this case”

Ramamoorthy said, “The gone wealth cannot get regained”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Hmmm…I know that”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, please come with me to the police station and give a written complaint”

 

Ramamoorthy said,”Ok sir”

They came back to the Police station at 12.30 p.m.

 

Ramamoorthy gave a written complaint about the incident.

After the process, he left the place.

 

It was around 1.30 Pugazhendhi went for his lunch.

He had his lunch in a highway restaurant.

 

After his lunch session, Pugazhendhi came back to the office by 2.30 p.m.

He sat on his computer and checked his e-mails.

 

At that time, he got a phone call from Kannan.

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello sir”

 

Kannan said, “Hello Pugazhendhi, I have a good news for you”

Pugazhendhi said, “Tell me, sir”

 

Kannan said, “By Monday afternoon a special team will reach your place”

Pugazhendhi asked, “How many of them are there?”

 

Kannan said, “Five well-trained officers in firearms and grenades”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…is that enough?”

 

Kannan said, “And ten junior officers, who can get used as spies”

Pugazhendhi said,”mmm…ok sir that will work out”

 

Kannan said, “I have given a name for the team of five officers as Axe Force”

Pugazhendhi said, “Axe Force? Why did you name them so?”

 

Kannan said, “Because they cut the strong branches of the business thieves network”

Pugazhendhi said, “And what is the name of the team for junior officers”

 

Kannan said, “Spy Axes”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh! Since they are attributing to the axe force, you gave them a name of spy axes?”

Kannan said, “Yes”
