This is the continuation to the story of Business Thieves. Pugazhendhi thought that he was fully out of the case. But he finds that he is not too far from the business thieves.They are after him.

 

Chapter 23: The Investigation at Ramamoorthy’s site

Date: 21st July 2012, Saturday

Place: Udayambakkam

 

Pugazhendhi, Apparao, and Ramamoorthy reached Udayambakkam at 10.30 a.m.

The shed got surrounded by a compound wall on four sides.

 

The height of the compound wall was around 6 feet.

Pugazendhi’s jeep stopped outside the compound wall.

 

Ramamoorthy’s car went inside the shed through the gate which got kept in an open position.

Pugazhendhi and Apparao got down from the jeep and walked towards the shed.

 

They entered inside the shed through the Gate.

Pugazhendhi made visual observations of the site.

 

There was a small security room for the gatekeeper next to the Gate.

The Gate was in a broken condition at the point of its latches.

 

The Security Guy Muthu was sitting inside the Security room.

His head got tied up with bandages.

 

Somebody has given him first aid.

Pugazhendhi saw his eyes and realized that he must be an honest guy.

 

The cars in the shed were burnt into ashes.

The condition of them was very bad and cannot be recoverable.

 

Insurance value for second-hand cars is also less.

Nobody Knows, whether Insurance companies will reimburse funds for this kind of events.

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Why is the gate damaged at the latch part?”

Ramamoorthy said, “In the morning I only broke it to get inside the campus”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Why did you break it?”

Ramamoorthy said, “Because it got locked from the inside”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “And you said that the security guy got dragged out?”

Ramamoorthy said, “Yes, he was outside the campus when he called me at 6 O clock”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “You said that the gate got locked, then how could he have got dragged out?”

Ramamoorthy said, “I also don’t know sir”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Call him before me”

Ramamoorthy said,”Muthu! Muthu! Come here”

 

The Security guy Muthu came running toward them.

Muthu said, “Yes sir”

Pugazhendhi said,”Muthu! Were you dragged out of the campus?”

Muthu said, “I don’t know sir, but when I woke up, I was outside the campus”

 

Muthu added, “On the other side of the road”

Pugazhendhi said, “You realize only the time when you got hit in the backside of your head”

 

Pugazhendhi added, “And the time when you woke up….right?”

Muthu said, “Yes sir”

 

Ramamoorthy said, “Sir, there are some traces of blood”

Ramamoorthy added,” which shows that he got dragged”

 

Pugazhendhi asked, “Is that inside or outside?”

Ramamoorthy said, “Outside”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, Muthu you can go now”

Muthu went back to his security room.

 

Pugazhendhi said, “if your guy Muthu is good”

Pugazhendhi added, “Then there is a possibility of somebody shifting him outside”

 

Pugazhendhi added, “If he is a bad guy, then he himself could have jumped out of the campus”

Ramamoorthy said, “No sir, he is a very innocent guy”

 

Pugazhendhi said,”Hmmm…then the only possibility is that”

Pugazhendhi continued, “He got lifted above the gate’s height and placed out”

 

Pugazhendhi continued,” and after that, he got dragged and placed on the other side of the road”

Ramamoorthy said,”mmm….may be, but how could he got lifted above the height of the

Gate?”

 

Pugazhendhi said,” He can be around 70 kilograms in weight”

Ramamoorthy said, “Yes, but a human cannot lift him up above the height of the gate”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, I accept that it cannot be a human’s work”

Ramamoorthy said, “Then could it be some kind of machinery like a crane?”

 

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, I agree that it is a machine, but it may not be a crane”

Ramamoorthy said,”hmmm…”
