Chapter XXI: Cautiousness
Date: 11th June 2012
Place: The Commissioner Office, Chennai

After the Tea Break, all the officers gathered for the second round of the meeting.

Kannan said, “Who is trying to pursue the phone call list of Farooq?”

Raja said, “I am doing that activity sir”

Kannan said, “When it will be available?”
Raja said, “Tomorrow sir”

Kannan said, “If the call list arrives at our hand, we may have a new outcome”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir”

Kannan said, “So, we can wait for the call list to come”

Kannan added, “But please be careful in your homes at night”

Muthu said, “Yes, we need to be careful”
Kannan asked, “Whose team is looking after Ramesh?”

Muthu said, “It is my team sir”
Kannan said,”Ok, please ask them to be cautious”

Muthu said,”Ok Sir”
Kannan asked, “Does anybody have points to make?”

Everybody kept silent.
Kannan said,”Ok, we can meet here tomorrow evening at 4 O clock”

Kannan added, “By that time, we could have got some more information”

Kannan said, “So, People can leave for the day”

Everybody said, “Thank you, sir”
Kannan said, “Thank you”

The meeting got over and the officers left the place.
Chapter XXII: A Clue and a Warning
Date: 11th June 2012
Place: Saidapet

After the meeting, Pugazhendhi reached his home by 6.45 p.m.

He took a bath and refreshed himself.

He prepared coffee for himself in the kitchen.
He came to the dining hall with the Coffee.

At that time, his phone rang.
Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello”

Prabhu said, “Hello Pugazh how was the day?”

Pugazhendh said, “You fool, I got into trouble because you”

Prabhu said, “Sorry man, it was a mistake”

Pugazhendhi said, “They gave me a warning in the meeting”

Prabhu asked, “For what?”

Pugazhendhi said, “For keeping you involved in this case”

Prabhu said,”Oh my goodness”
Pugazhendhi said,”Kannan warned me of that”

Prabhu said, “Sorry man”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, but we had a new clue “

Prabhu asked, “What is the clue?”
Pugazhendhi said, “How did the robot know about your secret visit?”

Prabhu said, “Yes man, how?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, we feel that there is strong evidence in Farooq’s house”

Prabhu said, “Maybe there could be a camera inside”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, there could be”

Prabhu said, “A clue and a warning”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes of course”

Prabhu said,”Ok man, I have an urgent work, will call you later”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok bye”

The call got disconnected.

 

Chapter XXIII: The Lost Soul
Date: 12th June 2012
Place: Adyar

Pugazhendhi went to his regular station at morning 10 O clock.
He checked his e-mails.

At 11 O clock, he ordered for a Coffee.
The Coffee came and he started to sip it.

At that time, he received a call from Inspector Muthu.
Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello Muthu”

Muthu said,”Pugazh, I have a bad news for you”
Pugazhendhi asked, “What is it?”

Muthu said,”Ramesh got expired 10 minutes ago”
Pugazhendhi said,”Oh My god”

Muthu said, “Yes, now only we are informing all the officers”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir, now what is the next”

Muthu said, “Maybe our meeting today can get shifted tomorrow”
Pugazhendhi said, “So, where should I come?”

Muthu said,”Ramesh’s house is at guindy”
Pugazhendhi said,”Oh I see”

Muthu said, “So the body will reach guindy “

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok, so today second half we can attend the death ceremony”

Muthu said, “Yes I feel so”
Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir”

Muthu said,”Ok bye”
The call got disconnected.

Pugazhendhi’s mind got ventilated by the thoughts of the Monkey Robot.

If a human had done the murder, he could have created his anger over the Human.

But it was a machine and the operator was unknown. Hence his anger got concentrated on the monkey robot.

He was also thinking on the first day of the case when he received a call from Mr.Rangaswamy.

He said to himself,”Hmm…Started like a small case!!!”
