Chapter XVI: The Search

Place: Adyar

Pugazhendhi and Prabhu were at Farooq’s house.

It was already rounded up and secured by the police.

Both of them entered and took a look inside the house.

Pugazhendhi said, “It seems, he has been alone here”

Prabhu said, “Yes I think”

Both of them walked inside the house as some of the police were standing outside.

They checked all the rooms of Farooq’s house.

No clues relating to the crime got found there.

Prabhu said, “It seems he has kept the place clean without evidence”

Pugazhendhi said, “He is cautious always”

Prabhu said, “But missed his cautiousness last night”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, now the world has got to know about him.”

Prabhu said,” what a kind of guy will leave a BMW car in public place and elope away?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, he could be a millionaire”

Prabhu said, “Yes richest criminal”

Pugazhendhi said, “Then he could not have done it for increasing his sales volume”

Prabhu said, “Yes, a valid point”

Pugazhendhi said, “Think man…there could be some other reason”

Prabhu said, “may be doing crime is his hobby”

Pugazhendhi said,”Mmm…I think so”

Prabhu said, “Do we have his pictures?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, but the head office has not released any news about this event”

Prabhu said, “My mind is saying that something bad is going to happen”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, I too have a bad feeling”

As both of them were talking, Pugazhendhi’s mobile phone rang.

Pugazhendhi answered the call, “Hello”

The other end said,”Pugazhendhi where are you?”
Pugazhendhi said, “Who is this?”

The other end said, “This is Solomon”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, what is the matter?”

Solomon said, “Our control room got attacked”
Pugazhendhi asked, “What? How?”

Solomon said, “The metallic monkey robot”
Pugazhendhi said,”Oh my god, how did it come there?”

Solomon said, “We have no idea, but it is a bullet proof metallic robot”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh is it so?”

Solomon said, “Yes, some of the security guards got injured “

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh, what happened to our Kannan sir?”

Solomon said,”Kannan was not on the spot”

Pugazhendhi said, “Then?”

Solomon said, “The robot has destroyed all the computers and tracking devices installed there”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh my God! Loss of the government funds “

Solomon said, “Yes man, the case is getting more serious”

Pugazhendhi said, “Do you need me?”

Solomon said, “No, just I thought of informing you, just carry on with your work”

Pugazhendhi said,”Ok sir, Bye”

 

 

Chapter XVII: The Unexpected Event
Date: 11th June 2012
Place: Adyar

Pugazhendhi disconnected Solomon’s phone call.
Prabhu asked, “An attack over the control room! How daring?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Yes man, he is not an ordinary criminal”

Prabhu said, “How did he found your remote control room?”

Pugazhendhi said, “Maybe he could have followed our officers last night”

Prabhu said, “Genius man”

Pugazhendhi said, “He left his car there, got into a new one and waited somewhere near”

Prabhu said, “And followed the police to their control room”

Pugazhendhi said, “Waited for the officers to leave”

Prabhu said, “And attacked the tracking devices and computers”

Pugazhendhi said, “Mind blowing criminal man he is”
Prabhu said, “yes, did they get the monkey?”
Pugazhendhi said,”mmm… I think No, if they’ve got it, Solomon would have told me right?”

Prabhu said, “Yes”

At that time, there was a phone call from Inspector Raja.

Pugazhendhi answered, “Hello Raja”
Raja said,”Pugazh, I have breaking news”

Pugazhendhi said, “What is it?”
Raja said, “Our people have discovered the dead body of Mr.Farooq”
Pugazhendhi said, “What? How? Where?”

Raja said, “It got found on Tindivanam highway”
Pugazhendhi said,”Oh my god”

Raja said, “He got stabbed to death”
Pugazhendhi said, “Is it so?”

Raja said, “Yes, his dead body got found isolated in a car left alone”

Pugazhendhi said,”Oh my goodness”

Raja said, “The murder could have happened in the early morning”

Pugazhendhi said, “as a result of our operation”

Raja said, “Yes because we found his car”
Pugazhendhi said, “whom does this car belong to?”

Raja said, “This is also his own car”

Pugazhendhi said, “Our control room got attacked by the monkey robot”

Raja exclaimed, “What?”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes, I am also wondering about it”

Raja said, “Then this is a gangster network”
Pugazhendhi said, “Yes sir, I think so”

Raja said,”Ok I am having a lot of work, bye”

Pugazhendhi said, “Bye sir, Thanks for the information”

Raja said, “Bye”
